The Woman Behind MAHG

MAHG was born from a journey — one that started long before the brand ever existed. My family migrated from the Caribbean to the United States in search of opportunity, resilience stitched into every step they took. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, raised in the vibrant neighborhoods of Roxbury and later Hyde Park. A true millennial — yes, older than Facebook (ouch, I know 🤣) — I grew up in a world that was constantly evolving.

Freshman year of high school, I noticed patches forming on my skin. It was gradual, confusing, and eventually diagnosed as Vitiligo. That moment changed everything. But instead of letting it define me, I let it refine me. Life since then has been wild, beautiful, and unpredictable — and I wouldn’t change a thing. Because that journey led me here. To MAHG.

MAHG isn’t just a cosmetics brand — it’s a movement. A mindset. A message. We believe luxury isn’t about jewels, glitter, or glamor. It’s about simplicity, authenticity, and intention. We were tired of spending money on “clean,” “natural,” “sensitive-skin” products that came with luxury price tags but didn’t deliver luxury results. Don’t get us wrong — if something is worth it, we’ll pay for it. But too often, brands focus on quantity over quality, flooding us with endless collections before we’ve even had time to enjoy the last one. Like… can I breathe first?!

Why MAHG Exists

None of this would be possible without the grace of God. I give all thanks to Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Father above for guiding every step of this journey. MAHG is more than a brand — it’s a testimony. A reminder that when you walk in purpose, with faith and patience, everything will align in His perfect timing. — Proverbs 31:25

That’s why I started MAHG in 2020. While the world rushed to launch businesses, I slowed down. I researched. I formulated. I tested. I failed. I tried again. And now, I’m proud to say MAHG stands on a foundation of transparency, not just honesty — and quality, not just quantity.
